Stephanie L. Roberts

Stephanie Roberts has experience in various aspects of intellectual property law. Ms. Roberts handles matters in a broad range of technical fields including mechanical devices, business methods, semiconductor, and telecommunications. Ms. Roberts has prepared and prosecuted many patent applications, drafted freedom to operate opinions, and provided litigation support.
Ms. Roberts is an integral member of a trial team. Ms. Roberts provides experience in all aspects of trial preparation, including pretrial investigations, preparing complaints and answers, taking and defending depositions, preparing and responding to discovery; witness preparation, motion practice, and trial.
Before joining Banner & Witcoff, Ms. Roberts held various engineering and management positions at Intel. Ms. Robert's semiconductor experience includes wet etch, lithography, process defects, equipment and process engineering, quality and reliability, and tool installation and qualification. Ms. Roberts also worked at Boeing as an engineer conducting thermal analysis on the landing gear, air lines, and water lines on the space shuttles. Ms. Roberts worked as a quality and reliability engineer at Motorola performing quality control tests on a line of engine controllers.
Ms. Roberts earned her J.D. degree at The John Marshall Law School. At John Marshall, Ms. Roberts earned her intellectual property certificate and participated as Staff Editor on the Review of Intellectual Property Law. Ms. Roberts earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas.
