McDermott are named as "2009 New England Super Lawyers" by Law & Politics magazine for their work in Intellectual Property Law and Intellectual Property Litigation. Judith Stone-Hulslander is named as a “2009 Rising Stars” by Law & Politics magazine. The Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists represent the top five percent of attorneys in each state. New England Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are selected through a peer balloting process involving attorneys from across Massachusetts and conducted by a research and review panel organized by Law & Politics magazine.
