Matthew J. Kohner

Prior to joining Banner & Witcoff, Mr. Kohner was a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent Office. There he examined patent applications in the mechanical arts focusing on sheet feeding devices, sorting devices and dispensers. Before working as an examiner, Mr. Kohner was a summer associate at a general practice firm where he assisted in patent litigation. Mr. Kohner obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University where he was a member of Pi Tau Sigma (National Mechanical Engineering Honor Fraternity). He also received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School where he was a Notes Editor of The Environmental Lawyer.
Mr. Kohner practices in the Washington D.C. office of Banner & Witcoff, Ltd.
