Mr. Harris has significant experience in all aspects of litigation and counseling, including fact investigation, written discovery, depositions, claim construction hearings, trials, appeals, mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations and agreements, and licensing.
Mr. Harris graduated, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. He also served as the Internet Editor for The University of Illinois Journal of Law Technology & Policy. Mr. Harris earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Valparaiso University.
Earlier, Mr. Harris was an electrical engineer for the State of Illinois Commerce Commission. As an engineer, he assisted in alternative retail electric supplier certification proceedings, in enforcement of the Illinois Underground Utility Facilities Damage Prevention Act, and in rulemaking regarding standards of service for electric meter service providers.
Mr. Harris practices in the Chicago office of Banner & Witcoff, Ltd.
