Mr. Brisnehan concentrates on prosecution, litigation and counseling in patent matters, especially in the electrical and computer areas. He has drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications in such technologies as computer hardware and software, electrical devices, neural networks, smart cards, Internet applications, operating systems, computer games, business methods, mobile telephones, and video processing techniques.Before joining the firm, Brian was a software developer and tester at the Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington, focusing on messaging and collaborative server software. While at Microsoft, Brian gained extensive experience in the areas of database application development and network communications protocols.
Brian is a registered patent agent in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Colorado in 1998, where he was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. Brian received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The George Mason University School of Law in 2007.
