Before joining the firm, Mr. Mu gained valuable experience working for the National Institute of Standards & Technology, assisting in both the Intelligent Systems and Advanced Network Technologies Divisions. His work at NIST included gathering topographical measurements for use in autonomous vehicle simulations, implementing and developing algorithms to simulate vehicle movements and traffic patterns, and engineering maps of a virtual test arena in various simulation languages.
Andy earned both a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with honors, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. During his undergraduate career, he served as a research assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department studying the characterization of flow and mixing characteristics of various screw configurations in twin screw extruders. He earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he was a member of the Mock Trial Board.
